I have a background in healthcare and previously worked as a nurse and midwife and in public health. I have worked as a counsellor/therapist both in private practice and in the NHS since 2009. I have worked in large London teaching hospitals, initially as a specialist psychotherapist in sexual health and HIV medicine and since 2017 at a specialist centre working with visual impairment. I also have experience working with the police service and in the charitable sector. I have recently left the NHS to concentrate on my private practice.
I gained an MSc Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Adults at Birkbeck College, University of London in 2014.
I am in ongoing professional supervision and I am committed to continuing my professional development through contact with professional groups and further learning.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.
